Fees & Payment Policy

This policy outlines our fee payment terms, due dates, late payment handling, notice periods, and fee responsibility.

1. Overview

Irene Pre-Primary School (“the School”) relies on monthly fee payments to maintain a high standard of care, education, staff resourcing, and facilities. Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring fees are paid in full and on time.

Fees payable period: School fees are payable from January to December 2026, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Fee Due Dates

Fees are payable monthly in advance, on or before the 4th day of each month.

  • Due date: On or before the 4th of the month
  • Late payments: From the 5th onwards
  • Fees cover: The care and education provided during the billed period

3. Late Payments & Penalties

Payments received from the 5th day onwards are considered late. A late payment penalty fee may be charged, as determined by the Principal.

Late payment penalty: The late payment penalty fee is applied at the discretion of the Principal and may change from time to time.

If you anticipate a delay in payment, you must notify the Principal in writing as soon as possible. Please note: notification does not remove the responsibility to settle outstanding fees.

4. Non-Payment & Legal Recovery

Where fees remain outstanding, the School may take steps to recover the outstanding amount.

  • Written reminders may be issued
  • The School may initiate formal recovery processes if payment is not received
  • The School reserves the right to take necessary legal steps to recover unpaid fees

5. Notice Period for Withdrawal

If your child will no longer attend Irene Pre-Primary School, the following notice periods apply:

  • Terms 1–3: One (1) calendar month’s written notice is required.
  • Term 4: Three (3) months’ notice must be given in October, as November and December do not serve as notice months.
Why this matters: Notice periods allow the School to plan staffing and resourcing responsibly and allocate places fairly.

6. Accuracy of Information

Parents/guardians confirm that all information provided to the School is accurate and truthful. This includes enrolment information, contact details, emergency contacts, and medical/allergy information.

7. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling a child at Irene Pre-Primary School, the parent/guardian acknowledges and agrees to the following:

I accept responsibility for the payment of fees for my child before the 4th of each month.

I accept that if fees are paid late (from the 5th onwards), I will be liable for a late payment penalty fee as determined by the Principal.

I understand that fees are payable from January to December 2026.

I agree to inform the Principal in writing should I be unable to pay the fees at any given time; however, I understand that it remains my responsibility to settle the amount, as my child was cared for by the teaching staff during the billed period.

I understand that the School may take the necessary legal steps to recover any outstanding fees should I fail to settle them.

I agree to give one (1) calendar month’s written notice should my child no longer attend Irene Pre-Primary School during the first, second or third term.

I understand that during the fourth term, three (3) months’ notice must be given in October, as November and December do not serve as notice months.

I declare that all information provided is accurate and truthful.

I have read and understand the acceptance criteria, rules and regulations of Irene Pre-Primary School.
